Now, check out our article for the most-watched Twitch streamers. The top 10 channel rankings below are based on the total hours watched by Twitch users during 2023 (January to December).
Judging by statistics for the year, the first top-five Twitch streamers included an American Kai Cenat (Kai Carlo Cenat III), Brazilian Gaules (Alexandre Borba Chiqueta), and Spanish Ibai (Ibai Llanos Garatea).
American Twitch streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat set many records. On January 2023, he began a month-long subathon. In February, Cenat became the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of all time, reaching 306,621 subscribers at its peak. And finally, in March this year, Kai won "Streamer of the Year" at the 12th Streamer Awards.
Alexandre “gAuLeS” Borba Chiqueta is a retired Brazilian professional Counter-Strike player and coach. A legend of the CS: GO community in his country, he now dedicates his channel to streaming and commentating on Counter-Strike tournaments. He continues to hold second place for the fourth consecutive year. In 2023, his channel generated more than 110M hours watched.
ibai (or Ibai Llanos Garatea) is a Spanish streamer, esports caster, and co-owner of the esports team KOI. He was a content creator for G2 Esports. In 2023, Ibai holds third place again. Spanish Twitch streamer gained more than 104M hours watched.
Next in our top five most-watched streamers is followed by famous Canadian streamer xQc (Felix Lengyel) and a Spanish kingsleague.
