Forever Skies is a post-apocalyptic first-person survival game developed by the Polish indie studio Far From Home (FFH). PlayStation fans have cool news to celebrate—Far From Home has released a new demo of Forever Skies, now available for download on PS5…
This demo offers a glimpse into the game’s core features, allowing players to unlock an exclusive PlayStation Airship Skin, which will carry over to the full game upon its release in 2025.
The demo provides a compact preview of the game, designed as a “vertical slice” that introduces key features in a streamlined format. Completing it should take approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
According to the video, players begin by crash-landing on Earth and must quickly gather resources to survive. They need to scavenge for supplies, use tech to craft tools, collect food and water, and prepare an airship for exploration.
Developers have incorporated impressive PS5 features into the demo. The DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers give each tool—such as the deck extractor, build tool, and scanner—a distinct feel.
Haptic feedback enhances these tools and other key moments, while some voice prompts now play through the controller’s speaker. The demo also supports both Performance and High Fidelity modes.
Dedicated players who complete all demo objectives will earn an exclusive PlayStation Airship Skin as an in-game reward.
While the demo offers a solid preview, it doesn’t cover everything. In the full game, players will be able to explore below the toxic dust layer and access additional tools and technologies for survival, progression, and defense.
The game supports both single-player and online co-op mode with up to three friends. Fans can download the demo now on the PlayStation Store and begin their exploration journey…
