Do you like to play video games, but do not know how to connect the PS4 controller to the PC? Then our tips will greatly simplify your task...
Although you own an older PS4, you get a pretty brilliant controller with either console, because DualShock 4 is still a cool gamepad. It can very easily be connected to your PC.
Please note that you can connect the PS4 controller to the PC in two ways - via USB cable or Bluetooth.
USB cable:
Using a DualShock 4 controller, via cable you will require a MicroUSB cable since the controller doesn't have a USB-C port.
A) For connecting, you’ll need to change the settings in your Steam account (if you using Valve's platform).
B) For other games you need to download a free program called DS4Windows.
Bluetooth:
1) Put your DualShock 4 in pairing mode by holding down the PlayStation and Share buttons until the backlight starts flashing.
2) On your PC, click “Add Bluetooth or other device”, then “Bluetooth”.
3) From the new connections list, select “Wireless Controller”.
4) If you’re asked for a password, enter “0000”.
Steam has DualShock 4 controller support if you enable it in the controller settings menu. This will also allow you to calibrate the joystick. By the way, the Steam Marketplace has a new filter. This Controller hub lets you filter games down to just the ones that will support your controller fully.
