Check out the Lilo & Stitch official teaser trailer for this upcoming science fiction film…
Disney has unveiled the first look at its live-action Lilo & Stitch remake, bringing the "cute and fluffy" blue alien to life. A teaser trailer for the highly anticipated reimagining of the beloved 2002 animated classic has been released, offering fans a glimpse of CGI Stitch in action. The visual effects are provided by Industrial Light & Magic.
The live-action film by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp, is scheduled to release in the United States on May 23, 2025.
This reimagining of Lilo & Stitch revisits the heartwarming tale of an alien, Experiment 626 (Stitch), who crash-lands in Hawaii and discovers the true meaning of family with Lilo and her ohana.
The film stars Sydney Elizabeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, and Chris Sanders, alongside Courtney B. Vance and Zach Galifianakis.
Producers Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin, along with executive producers Louie Provost, Tom Peitzman, and Ryan Halprin, are bringing the project to life. Written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright.
The teaser trailer offers a nostalgic treat, featuring Stitch's lovable chaos set against a rendition of "He Mele No Lilo", originally composed by Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu and Alan Silvestri for the first film.
Disney also shared an exciting poster of Experiment 626, building anticipation for the summer 2025 release. A message on Disney's Instagram reads, "Experiment 626 has entered the chat! The live-action #LiloAndStitch is coming only to theaters in Summer 2025!"
Well, it's not that long until the premiere, considering the almost 23 years of waiting since the original animated film. Hopefully the fans will enjoy it...
