WHAT NEXT ASSASSIN'S CREED GAME?

What next Assassin's Creed game?

The mainline game of Assassin's Creed will be released every two years, with smaller experiences in between. There are currently nine Assassin's Creed games in development, including two remakes…

The world of video games has never had a shortage of Assassin's Creed games, but as is the case with most franchises, the pace of new game releases has slowed down in the last couple of years. Last year's Assassin's Creed Mirage wasn't a mainline game, meaning the last large game was Valhalla in 2020. A new installment codenamed Red will be released this year, with Japan as the setting.

There’s been a lot of rumors lately, but according to insiders, eight more games are planned after that, including two remakes.

Now, all future Assassin's Creed games will be released by Infinity live service - a hub that will unite the franchise and become a kind of launcher with different features. The main direction of the project is the provision of services in real-time. Also through the hub, players can access "Projects" for each protagonist.

It all sounds pretty vague so far, but Infinity will launch alongside Assassin's Creed Red in late 2024, so we'll find out for ourselves soon enough.

But what Assassin's Creed games will be released soon? Here is an indicative list of future projects: Red will be released this year, the multiplayer game Invictus will follow in 2025, and Hexe (which is described as the darkest game in the franchise with a female protagonist) is scheduled for 2026.

After these three titles, Ubisoft plans to release Obsidian (a remake of Black Flag), Nebula (locations in the Mediterranean, India, and the Aztec Empire), Raid (a F2P 4-player co-op PvE game), multiplayer game Echoes, and a second remake of an unknown game.

All of these projects are due out by the end of 2030, but the dates could still change…
