“Path of Exile 2” early access pricing and details revealed…

Next month, “Path of Exile 2” (PoE 2) is set to debut, launching initially as a paid early-access title before transitioning to the same free-to-play model as its predecessor. Developer Grinding Gear Games, previously tight-lipped about the launch specifics, recently announced the early access price via a tweet.

Early access packs will start at $30, significantly lower than the usual $60 starting price of the game’s core supporter packs, which typically include cosmetics and shop currency. This pricing approach mirrors the studio's strategy for previous “Path of Exile 1” expansions, where reduced-cost early access was offered.

Although “Path of Exile 2” is a separate game, all cosmetics and shop currency from the original “PoE” will transfer over—a complex process that led to the early access launch being delayed from November 15 to December 6.

Details about the scope of the early access build remain limited. It will include three acts of the campaign and an updated version of “PoE 1”'s endgame maps, featuring randomized dungeons designed for high-level grinding. However, specifics about the 12 planned classes and other returning systems have yet to be disclosed.

Having been in development for five years, “PoE 2” promises substantial content. Gameplay footage suggests the game is well-developed compared to many other early-access titles.

It remains to be recalled that the upcoming F2P action RPG “Path of Exile 2” is set to be released for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S on December 6, 2024, as an early access title…
