In a recent interview, VP of Franchise Creative for The Sims, Lyndsay Pearson spoke about the new elements that were combined to create The Sims 5. The upcoming game be multiplayer, she explained...
“We definitely want to introduce multiplayer. And not multiplayer in the big, scary 'jump in a world full of strangers' kind of way. But literally, how do you and your friends want to do some play together?”, Lyndsay said.
According to Pearson, the Sims 5 (Project Rene) will offer players a multiplayer feature in which they can cooperate or compete, create homes and families, visit each other, and participate in various activities and events.
The game will be modeled after, for example, Animal Crossing. The feature will be optional and the Sims 5 will include a single-player component playable offline.
The Sims 5 will take graphics to a new level, more realistic. The behavior and emotions of Sims will change. There will be more freedom in building and decorating houses, more options for customizing characters and clothes, and new professions and hobbies. In the game will be a lot of details and improvements.
P.S. There is no official release date for The Sims 5 yet, but according to some reports, the game is expected to be announced in 2024 and released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X…
