We continue to summarize the most-watched Twitch games. The ranking of the top 10 games is based on the total number of hours watched by Twitch users in July 2024.
According to this month's statistics, the top five games on Twitch are led by the following: action-adventure Grand Theft Auto V, multiplayer online battle arena League of Legends, and F2P first-person tactical hero shooter Valorant.
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North (published by Rockstar Games), was released in 2013. It is the seventh major installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. It ranks with nearly 98.1M hours watched during July. GTA V is still very popular on PC and has received multiple nominations and awards from gaming publications.
League of Legends (LoL) is a 2009 MOBA video game developed & published by Riot Games. LoL has received generally positive reviews and a long lifespan it is considered one of the greatest video games. Also, The League of Legends World Championships is one of the world's most-watched esports events.
Third place goes to Riot Games's Valorant, a team-based first-person tactical hero shooter set in the near future. On the first day of its beta launch, Valorant reached the 2nd most concurrent viewers for any game ever on Twitch, with 1.73M viewers. Valorant won The Game Awards in the Best Esports Game category in 2022 and the Golden Joystick Awards as Best Streaming Game in 2023.
Next in the top five are two popular games by Valve: Dota 2 and Counter-Strike (CS).
