We continue to summarize each month's most-watched Twitch streamers. The ranking of the top 10 channels is based on the total number of hours watched by Twitch users in August 2024.
According to this month’s statistics, Americans KaiCenat, HasanAbi and Japanese kato_junichi0817 were among the top five streamers on Twitch.
In first place with a huge lead KaiCenat (Kai Carlo Cenat III) is an American streamer and YouTuber. He ranks with nearly 10.3M hours watched during August. Kai is currently the first most-subscribed Twitch streamer and the 5th most followed Twitch streamer with approximately 12.5M followers. He was “Streamer of the Year” at the 2023 and 2024 Streamer Awards.
Second place is also American streamer/YouTuber, HasanAbi (Hasan Dogan Piker). Left-wing political commentator, he streams on Twitch, discussing politics, news, and controversial social issues. Piker won a Streamy in the News category in 2020, 2022, 2023 years. Its popularity has been gaining momentum lately.
Moved up to third place famous Japanese streamer, YouTuber and tarento - kato_junichi0817 (Unko-chan). On YouTube he has about 1.28M subscribers and approximately 996K followers on Twitch. He ranks with nearly 6.76M hours watched during August.
Next in our top five most-watched channels is also followed by Japanese RTAinJapan and American streamer zackrawrr.
