On March 27, Twitch announced that it would ban content that focuses too much on intimate body parts.
Since the introduction of the "Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches" category on Twitch, numerous streamers have gained popularity by taking different approaches to diversifying their content and trying to find a “loophole” to stay within the platform's policies.
For example, some streamers in this category are often dressed only in swimsuits, with many using different angles to attract more viewers.
Twitch recently announced that it will no longer allow live streams that focus on intimate body parts, as community rules are meant to foster a welcoming environment on the platform.
“Content on Twitch is always evolving, and we want to make sure our rules work as intended and keep up with emerging behaviors”, the company said in a tweet.
That's why Twitch has updated the Community Guidelines to account for changing behaviors and ensure the community is completely clear on what is acceptable.
