British Canadian Twitch streamer who achieved victory in Elden Ring using only her mind has now shifted her focus to shooting games, where she imparts her skills to players of Valorant or Halo Infinite. Currently, her video clips from Elden Ring garnered widespread attention on social media...
Perrikaryal uses an Electroencephalogram (EEG), which detects changes in brain activity. Through some additional coding, she managed to link the EEG to a game controller, allowing her brain signals to trigger in-game actions, such as pressing the Attack button.
Although it took her several months to complete Elden Ring using this setup, it showcased the potential of EEG technology for other games. She also played Trackmania, Dark Souls III, Only Up!, Armored Core VI, etc.
Now, a few months later, Twitch streamer and psychology researcher Perrikaryal has redirected her efforts towards first-person shooters like Valorant or Halo Infinite, achieving kills through a completely hands-free approach. Today, many wonder how it works.
Firing in the game is accomplished by a brainwave-powered button "Press", movement is controlled by the EEG device's gyro controls while aiming is managed through eye-tracking software.
Needless to say, some video clips really showcase Perrikaryal's impressive gaming prowess.
For example, in a Halo Infinite clip, she makes long-range kills and even a double kill. But in Valorant, Perrikaryal manages to secure 4 kills in a Deathmatch, even under fire from a shotgun.
Interestingly enough, the streamer herself admits that her Halo K/D ratio is only 0.25. And on Twitch she also has only 25K followers so far. But in any case, her playing skills without putting your hands on a controller impress many players around the world!
