There are some interesting upcoming games still to launch this year, and plenty further down the line. Regardless of whether you're playing on a game console or PC, you have fun. We have gathered information about the remaining dates for releases of the games in 2023…

Alan Wake 2

/PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC/

A sequel to Alan Wake, a survival horror game played from a third-person perspective. The story follows best-selling novelist Alan Wake, who has been trapped in an alternate dimension for 13 years, as he attempts to escape by writing a horror story involving an FBI agent named Saga Anderson.

October, 31

Headbangers Rhythm Royale

/Nintendo Switch, PC/

Rhythm battle royale game where you and 29 other Pigeons compete against each other to try and win the title of Master Headbanger. Compete against each other in musical minigames, win your competitors with powerups, and collect Crumbs to customize your pigeon.

Is an action-puzzle climbing game and a meditative journey to the top of a tall tower. The tower is filled with the artifacts of civilizations long past. The player can use objects in order to traverse the world. Challenge yourself at your own pace, explore different paths, and unravel the secrets of a bygone civilization.

RoboCop: Rogue City

/Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC/

Is a first-person shooter game set in Old Detroit. RoboCop must clear the city of criminals, conduct investigations, and can also give out parking tickets. The game is set in between the films RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. Anne Lewis, RoboCop's police partner from the films, accompanies the player.

The Talos Principle 2

/PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC/

The more you discover, the more you will be confronted with questions about the nature of the cosmos and the purpose of civilization. The player into a new world where biological humanity is extinct but human culture lives on in a city of robots. Find yourself swept up in a mind-bending adventure involving a mysterious megastructure.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

/PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC/

The action-adventure video game is a spin-off of the Like a Dragon series. The story focuses on the series' original protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, as he embarks on a new adventure and explores the Sotenbori district of Osaka and the Isezaki Ijincho district of Yokohama under the guise of a secret agent.

November, 10

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

/PS5, Xbox Series X, PC/

Is a first-person shooter video game, the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, serving as the third and final installment in the original Modern Warfare trilogy and the eighth Call of Duty installment overall. The game's campaign follows Modern Warfare 2 and begins right after the events of its final mission. History is centered around Task Force 141.

Persona 5 Tactica

This game is a new story, the return of favorite characters, new allies, and foes. Join the group as they lead an emotional revolution in this combat adventure. Find out what truth lies behind Erina and the deal she offers to the Phantom Thieves.

Super Mario RPG

This colorful RPG has updated graphics and cinematics. In this new game Mario, Bowser, and Peach partner up to repair the wish-granting Star Road. Team up with a group of heroes to save Star Road and stop the Smithy Gang.

December, 1

Batman: Arkham Trilogy

/Nintendo Switch/

The trilogy includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight. Plus all DLC for the three games. Arkham Asylum is the smallest-scale game, taking place entirely in the titular asylum. Arkham City expands events to cover Gotham City. And Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a central gameplay mechanic.
